Le 5 juin 2019, les élections législatives danoises ont fait passer l’opposition des social-démocrates (Socialdemokratiet) au premier rang, devant le parti libéral (Venstre) du Premier ministre Lars Løkke Rasmussen. Le parti du peuple (Dansk Folkeparti, abrégé DF), dirigé par Kristian Thulesen Dahl, est lui arrivé troisième.
